The aim was to promote commercial and cooperation agreements between research centres and companies.

The stand featured various different areas:

- Exhibition area with information desks on specialist research centres and groups
  in the sector.
- The FITEC classroom, featuring the projects and expertise of the different groups
  and researchers.
- Workshops on technological vigilance, intellectual property, funding for R&D&i and
  certification.
- A meeting area where universities and businesses could hold meetings.
