40th International Symposium on Robotics (ISR’09)

Being held at the same time as Maquitec, the 40th International Symposium on Robotics is showcasing the most advanced side of the industry between 10 and 13 March.
The event, whose Committee of Honour is chaired by the Prince of Asturias, featured sessions on science and technology, industry, technology transfer, new products and opportunities for research funds.
It presented the latest trends in robotics and their new uses in sectors such as medicine, pharmaceuticals, aeronautics and agri-food, as well as in the service, safety and leisure sectors.
The symposium, which is bringing together professionals from all over the world, is being organized by the Spanish Association of Robotics, Automation and Production Technologies (AER-ATP) and is sponsored by the International Federation of Robotics (IFR).
