This sector generates a turnover of 33,176 million euros per year, 22% of the total Catalan industrial turnover, and is one of the most internationalized sectors.

These were the main conclusions of the study drawn up by the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce and presented at Maquitec 2009. It also presented the new website of the Catalan Subcontracting Exchange and the international promotional activities being organised for 2009.
